DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

2000

• Established the Faculty of Environment at the University of Science in accordance with Decision No. 14/QD/DHQG/TCCB of the Chancellor of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City dated January 18, 2000.
• stablished the Department of Environmental Science in accordance with Decision No. 105/QD-TCHC dated July 26, 2000.
• Established the Department of Environmental Management in accordance with Decision No. 106/QD-TCHC dated July 26, 2000.

2003

• Established the Department of Environmental Informatics in accordance with Decision No. 67/2003/QD/TC-HC dated September 10, 2003.
• Established the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in accordance with Decision No. 68/2003/QD/TC-HC dated September 10, 2003.

2007

• Established the Department of Environmental Technology in accordance with Decision No. 1056/QD-KHTN-TCHC dated December 15, 2007.
• Merged the Department of Natural Resources and Environment into the Department of Environmental Sciences.

2020

• Established the Department of Environmental Management and Informatics by consolidating the Department of Environmental Management and the Department of Environmental Informatics in accordance with Decision No. 916/QD-KHTN August 18, 2020.
