“Dr Maron is a landscape and conservation ecologist with a particular interest in conservation of biodiversity in human-dominated landscapes. Her research group, within the Environmental Management Program at The University of Queensland, works on the challenge of achieving effective biodiversity conservation and management in agricultural, pastoral and forest systems, with a focus on conservation policy, particularly relating to biodiversity offsetting and environmental stewardship”.
